San Pablo EDC in partnership with Northern California Teamsters Apprentice Training will host the five-day course free of charge. HAZWOPER or Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training Course is designed to address any potential risks of hazardous materials in the workplace particularly for construction, environmental cleanup, and refineries. Employers will speak to class to recruit and inform participants about job opportunities.
The course will meet five consecutive days from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
You must attend an orientation and obtain a physician's clearance to enroll.
Orientation is on October 1, 2018, to learn more about the HazWOPER40 training. Classes are scheduled to begin October 22-26th
