San Pablo EDC is a member of the Contra Costa Workforce Collaborative (CCWC) providing WIOA employment services, free case management, job search assistance, and training services. We also organize monthly Hiring Fairs and Career Day with local businesses and organizations at no charge.

Difference between Hiring Fair vs. Career Day
A Hiring Fair is an event where an employer or employers share information about their open positions, hiring process, and anything else prospective applicants would need to know. Sometimes employers may even conduct mini-interviews if time and space allow.
A Career Day is an event where an employer or employers share information about programs and opportunities, and/or about the industry itself. They will talk about the kinds of jobs in demand at their organization, and/or in the industry as a whole, and will also talk about the qualifications for those jobs and how to meet them. They may also talk about internships and training or on-the-job training programs.
